Soirees

What better evening pleasure at which to swan about than a soiree? The very sound of it — soiree — conjures up visions of beautiful women and mysterious men, candlelight and seductive music.

Every spring, Stratford Summer Music holds private concerts across the city featuring the Glenn Gould School of Music. Last year’s soirees featured two harpists, another had a Frank Sinatra theme, a third showcased an opera based on Hamlet with a pianist accompanying, and a fourth had a brass quintet.

For the first time a limited number of public soirees will be held. For more information and to book please contact 519. 271.2101 for details. Each of the following inns and restaurants will be pleased to welcome you:

Summer Music will provide the incredible performing talents of artists, some of Stratford’s most elegant venues providing the candlelight, menus and ambience and we know you can be beautiful and mysterious…well you have an evening ahead of you that cannot be matched.

P.S. A lifetime later (actually, the next morning) you can manage any of the previous evening’s overindulgences at breakfast and/or brunch. We hear of one place that will have a swan theme for the morning’s garnishes and entrees, but we can’t tell. Sworn to secrecy. Swan’s promise.
