Bieber-iffic Map

Everyone knows that Justin is from Stratford and he still comes back to visit his good friends. This year, we’ve added a few more places to Justin Bieber’s map of Stratford. – the schools he went to; the ice cream parlour he went to after soccer games and the skate park where he learned his moves for his videos. Swan Walks

Every Saturday in May, we offer informative guided tours about our swans. Their mating rituals, their nesting and hatching rituals, their social structure, even the story of the notorious pair of swans, Bonnie and Clyde. The free walks start 1t 10:30 am and begin at the Stratford Tourism Alliance office across from City Hall.

Savour Stratford Strolls

Stratford loves food, especially the local producers and farmers’ products. We even have two farmers markets starting in June. Every Saturday morning it’s the Stratford Farmers Market and Sunday mornings it is the Stratford Slow Food Market in the heart of the heritage district behind City Hall. We also offer guided walks every Friday and Sundays at 2:00 pm. A local foodie will take to on an insider’s tour of the food shops with insights as to the local food of Perth County.

Experience the Perth County Terroir

Wander our rich countryside and experience the ties between taste and place as we visit local farmers, artisan food makers and local farm-gate markets led by a local foodie on a personal tour of our favourite farms and culinary attractions around Stratford. Savour a delicious lunch created with local ingredients at a delightful, family-owned café along the way. These exclusive tours will be offered on Saturday, July 9th and Saturday, July 23rd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. More information and tickets here.

Heritage Walks

We offer a range of guided and self-guided heritage walks that are unique to Stratford and Perth County. Our history if full of famous and infamous characters who left a legacy and created the Stratford Experience. You will discover the rich architecture of a town the railway built and hear the stories that the personalities of our exciting past.
