Stratford Tourism Alliance Board

A new industry partnership begins in Stratford! The Stratford Tourism Alliance (STA) is the body responsible for tourism beginning in January 2007. This independent new tourism non-profit corporation is industry-led and industry-driven with strong continued support from the City of Stratford.

The following persons will serve on the inaugural board:

  • Eugene Zakreski - Executive Director
  • Marc Armstrong - Chair - Citizen-at-large - Tourism
  • Cathy Bieman - Perth County Visitors Association
  • George Brown - Councillor
  • Nancy Fallis - Ontario Government
  • JD Graham - Retail
  • Jennifer Lamb - Arts and Culture
  • Dave Martin - DMF Contributor
  • Larry McCabe - Restaurants
  • Leanne Perreault - Stratford Festival of Canada
  • Jo-Anne Russell - Stratford City Centre Committee
  • Norm Russell - Citizen-at-large - Retail
  • Jeffrey Schmidt - Stratford & Area Bed and Breakfast Association (SABBA)
  • Bill Windsor - Stratford Hotel Motel Association (SAHMA)
  • Shelley Windsor - Stratford & District Chamber of Commerce

The executive consists of a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. The vice-president will be considered the president-designate. Board members will serve three-year terms.  Three founding board members will be part of a 15-member board with 13 voting members and two non-voting members representing the following areas:

  • Restaurants
  • Retail
  • Arts and Culture
  • Citizens-at-large (2 members representing the tourism industry at large.
