• Victorian Christmas Trail, November 3 to December 20, is a perfect way to stroll our best shops filled with Christmas finery. Pick up a guide to over 16 unique shops, browse 8 and collect small presents for yourself or as stocking stuffers for loved ones. $20 for the guide. A perfect Christmas outing for a group of friends. • Santa and Comet, November 26, December 3, 4, and 17. Santa and his live reindeer love Stratford and are taking time from their busy schedule to meet families at Memorial Gardens (Dec. 3) and at Memorial Gardens and York Street (Dec. 4) between 12 and 4pm.
• Yuletide Tour of Homes, November 26 and 27. The IODE presents a tour of 5 contemporary homes dressed for the season. Be inspired by innovative Christmas ideas from local designers. Free shortbreads, mulled cider and chocolate treats. 11 – 4 pm; $15/person. Tickets available at Cozyns Garden Centre and Anything Grows.
• Heritage Carriage Tours, November 26 and 27. Take a guided tour of Stratford’s downtown heritage district bundled-up in a horse drawn carriage. Tours every half-hour starting at 12 until 4 pm. Compliments of the Businesses of Downtown Stratford.
• Festival City Rotary Stratford Heritage Home Tour December 3 and 4. Step back in time when you visit 5 stately heritage B&B’s decorated in their Christmas splendour as found at the height of the Victorian era.
